Fishing is the excuse I use for taking advantage of every opportunity to spend time on the water. Everyone will likely catch more than me, but I doubt that anyone enjoys being there more than I do. I find myself drawn to the feeder streams and back waters. I believe this, from the water approach, provides some unique perspectives of the landscapes and wildlife. With the exception of the butterfly images, all my photography is an attempt to capture these experiences. If your experience viewing the resulting prints, at some level, resembles what motivated me to pick up the camera in the first place, then I will consider "mission accomplished". I always return to the launch with the feeling that it was a privilege to have had these experiences.
